Bible of an Alligator: A Collection of Poems

A Hunt for Better Days!

Bible of an Alligator is a timely sequel from Alphonso Taylor, author of Bible of an Owl (2006). This collection offers more poems from his life experiences. Alphonso takes an even intense-edgy and grittier approach about his upbringing of adolescence, self esteem, struggle, and spirituality in society. He faces education, religion, dating, prostitution, and war through the changes of an urban, young Black man. Bible of an Alligator showcases versatility that is evident with Alphonso Taylor's writing and depth of work in his sophomore masterpiece.
