As men and women when we meet someone and realize that we love them, we want to find out everything that we can about them; what that person likes, where they grew up, do they have any brothers or sisters, the list can go on and on. As Christians; however, our love for Jesus is too often focused on us. We know that Jesus loves us and that He died to save us from our sins, but beyond that our love is based on our feelings; how does Christian music, the pastor, members of our congregation make us feel. About the Author
Charles Christopher Martin is a lay teacher who believes that we must acquire as much knowledge as we can about Christianity and the Bible. Matthew 24 talks about the end times and Matthew 24:11 says, "many false prophets will appear and deceive many people." Without getting into God's word we cannot be sure if the beliefs that we profess are what Jesus taught. For that reason Mr Martin has written this small book to help people and will continue to write books that can be used for getting to know Jesus personally and to gain an understanding of what Jesus taught.
