About the Author
Author and Illustrator, Jennifer Linderman, debuts her first coloring book, "Botanimals", translating her love of plants and animals into a spectacular coloring adventure. She began her adventures in art after the birth of her first child when she picked up the habit of paper folding. This passion for Origami quickly led to an obsession and soon afterwards her own business. She now owns "Origami Mami" where she brings the magic of Origami to hundreds of children each week in the East Bay, CA. as an after school enrichment program. Origami was the catalyst for her exploration of other media and after several years of experimenting with a multitude of art forms she landed firmly into the world of drawing. Even though Jennifer was not an artist by trade, she took her love of nursing and the sciences and enrolled in her first ever Botanic Illustration class. She knew then and there that this is what she had been searching for and a new career was born! Jennifer enjoys the fine detail that Botanic Illustration historically embraces and still practices today. She uses primarily graphite, pen and ink, and colored pencil to illustrate her chosen subjects.
