My first series – Broken Earth – delves into mankind's deepest fears in Book One – Devastation and continues on to showcase the indomitable spirit of the average person in the face of the worst possible circumstances. My books are influenced by Mike Kraus, EE Isherwood, Warren Fahy, James Rollins, Greig Beck, and Jaqueline Druga, to name a few.
From growing up in Illinois to my early adult years in Florida and now residing in the heart of America, Kansas City, my surroundings have always played a significant role in my storytelling. I'm an avid reader, a passionate writer, a green thumb with a penchant for huge gardens, and an internet explorer, always looking for inspiration for my next exciting tale. I love to read about and visit far-flung locations, fueling these great stories.
My favorite book is Fragment. I love post-apocalyptic movies like 2012 and The Day After Tomorrow, and I love to watch Tubi for the smaller-budget disaster movies. I have never met a disaster I didn’t like!
