About the Author
Megan MacCutcheon, M.Ed., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a private therapy practice in Vienna, Virginia. Megan provides individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Megan specializes in helping individuals to build self-esteem and manage stress, and has extensive experience in working with victims of sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and domestic violence. Megan also teaches a Building Self-Esteem workshop at The Women's Center (www.thewomenscenter.org), a local nonprofit counseling agency, where she completed an internship and residency, and worked as a therapist and Domestic Violence Systems Advocate. Megan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Boston University and completed a Master of Education in Counseling and Development at George Mason University.
