For a time that should be filled with pure joy and anticipation, pregnancy proves to be a fierce battle between grief and joy after the loss of a child. This book follows the author's journey from loss to subsequent pregnancy, with encouragement along the way on how to handle the 'new normal' that rocks your world after facing a loss. From dealing with others in your subsequent pregnancy, to balancing grief along the way, to real-life, tangible ways of celebrating pregnancy, this book offers a unique perspective on pregnancy after loss.

About the Author
Franchesca Cox is an artist, writer, wife and mother to three children. She has the privilege of raising two here on earth, and one who soars above. After losing her firstborn child, she became passionate about reaching out to other bereaved moms through her blog, Small Bird Studios (now named "So This is Love"). Some of her projects have included memory box donations, a journal drive for the NICU where her daughter stayed, co-founding a card line specializing in loss and infertility called Lost for Words with Carly Marie Dudley, and more recently launching an online magazine and community, Still Standing Magazine. After leaving the hospital with empty arms in May of 2009, she made a promise to herself that she would honor her daughter's life by placing her energy into making other bereaved mothers feel less alone in their grief. On her blog, she welcomes all bereaved parents who blog about their experience to share their own blogs on "The Sisterhood" link at www.SmallBirdStudios.com, where there are currently over 450 blogs listed.
