Charley is about the humorous Facebook posts made, (surreptitiously), by a Standard Schnauzer in her first year of life. Each post contains text and picture(s), some with voice bubbles, that humorously describe her interactions with people, animals, places & things. It is not a 'how to' book, but rather an 'experience' book. It is a book that I hope will convey to the reader the humor, joy, excitement and pure love that a puppy, especially a Standard Schnauzer puppy, can bring to our lives.

About the Author
Since this book is about Charley, I thought I would let her describe me. We live on an island called Plum Island. It is just off the coast of northeastern Massachusetts and connected by a bridge to the mainland. My mom & dad have named our little piece of land and home Plum Island Paradise! So, who is this guy, dad? Well, he's married to mom and seems to do a lot of the heavy liftin' around here. He builds stuff, designs stuff for mom's business, The Artists Playground, in Newburyport, like newsletters, flyers, website, etc. He is on the computer a LOT! He also does all the buildin' around here. He is in the shop a LOT! He does the cookin' and everythin' else. He is in the kitchen a LOT! Mom describes dad as bein' 73 goin' on 14. I'm not sure what that means but I think it's a good thing when I need some playtime. Mom has also told me that dad has hazel eyes and b negative blood so he could be part alien. All I know is that dad is the best player and tickler I ever saw and we sometimes play and tickle each other 'til we laugh so hard we can hardly breathe! In the real world, dad, although funny, is a very spiritual guy. He says one of his favorite images is one that mom drew of a 'laughing Jesus'. He is a writer, poet, and photographer and is planning another book that will combine all those things.
