Since the beginning of my journey, in search of my purpose, I have felt a strong pull in the direction to write this book. I believe in me and I believe I make a difference. Touching someone's life in a positive way fills me up and gives me a sense of making a difference. I want to share my story every chance I get because I never know who might need to hear my words. Who am I to share my story? Who am I not to? As I let my own light shine, I unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As I am liberated from my own fear, my presence liberates others

About the Author
I am a Sensei for New Beginnings and I am the most positive person I know! I am a Long Beach California native, with a passion for sharing health, wealth and self. If you could have a "New Beginning" in these 3 areas of your life, where would you begin? I started New Beginnings because I believe that balance between health, wealth and self is the key to success! My childhood was full of fear and self loathing. As a child I endured physical abuse that escalated to sexual abuse by the age of 12. Studying Karate, teaching self-defense and my work with self-esteem, and nutrition has helped shape the person I am today. When I was in my 40's I had an accident that put me in a wheelchair for 4 months. It took a plate and screws holding my leg together, a 3-year road to recovery and 2 surgeries to be able to walk normally (and more importantly, to wear high heels again!!). Soon after that, my husband of 34 years asked for a divorce. Being faced with challenges I did not anticipate, I put my belief in New Beginnings to work and now live my life with an attitude to "dance like no one is watching and sing like no one is listening!" I am here to share my passion for health, wealth and self with you. I believe that if you want to "have it all" you must first learn to be "self-preserving."
