COME GROW WITH ME is an inspirational book of children's poetry written from a child's point of view. These poems emphasize the many conflicting feelings of happiness, disappointment and fear during formative years. The importance of family ties and faith are exemplified as pointers in making decisions affecting interpersonal relationships. "Ordinary Girl" is about a wheelchair bound girl whose young neighbor will have nothing to do with her. "Broccoli" tells about a small boy who does not like vegetables but who eventually understands that by eating them he will become strong and healthy. "My Little Brother" tells of a young lad whose little brother tags along everywhere he goes but the boy soon realizes that he is setting an important example for his sibling. "Our House" explains how a girl from a very large family has to share even a bed with her sisters, and how she is waiting for their ship to come in.
