About the Author
JEANNIE FUNG This was a ten-year project that my daughter and I have been working and I am so glad we did. Our family loves to travel together and explore the world. What a way of capturing the moments and remembering the wonderful times. I spent about 15 years of my life in broadcast journalism working in front of and behind the camera. Then, I spent another five years in the travel and hospitality industry. I have always wanted to merge the two but it was hard when my husband and I decided to start a family. We promised each other that taking our kids on vacations no matter what age is a priority! My motto has been "Enjoy Life Now. You'll Never Know Where You'll Be Tomorrow." So with three girls in high school and elementary school, I get to write more while they are in classes. Then I become the chauffeur and take my girls to musical theater practice, golf lessons, aerial silk ballet, ice skating, and voice class. Life in Southern California keeps me busy...and I think it's time for another vacation soon!! I hope you'll get to do the same with your family too!! Blessings. * * * * * * MADISON FUNG My first trip to Hawaii was when I was 8 months old...that's what my mom told me. We've been back about a half a dozen times since and I love it each time we go. Now I'm a busy high school student trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I love to sketch anime characters, write fiction stories, figure skate with my best friends, and I love pasta!! But most of all...I love going on these trips with my family. I have traveled to many places in my life, thanks to my parents. I am looking forward to our next adventure. * * * * * * PATTY NUNN IBA, Illustrator. Patty Nunn Iba is a graphic artist and illustrator born and raised in Auburn, CA and now lives in Lake Forest, CA with her husband. They are adjusting to their two boys away at college. Her first art award came at the young age of three for a drawing entered in the Auburn District Fair. She won first place! She went on to earn her BFA in Graphic Communications at UCLA. After working for design studios, magazines, and in-house marketing departments, she now owns her own design business, Blue Fire Creative / Iba Design. Using the computer as her primary tool, she also contributes vector illustrations to iStockPhoto.com. To take a break from the computer, she plays with her watercolor and oil paints. Patty is passionate about living a creative life and loves sharing her creativity.
