Civilization must survive upon three foundations - how we broaden our knowledge, how we restore our vigor, and how we save our souls.

To protect our schools and universities, our hospitals and healthcare clinics, and our houses of worship, communities must:

  • Recognize the inherent value of all human persons
  • Understand the primal concept of survival and how it applies to defense
  • Develop and staff a tactical security plan
  • Understand the intrinsic security issues relating to schools, hospitals, and religious facilities and how each differs from one another
  • Understand how to think like the enemy
  • Abandon concepts of surrender
  • COMMUNITIES at WAR takes the reader on a journey of discovery designed to instill a sense of survival within people ordinarily compassionate and forgiving. Unlike generic textbooks and 'how to' manuals of the past, the narrative here rests with planting the seeds for security amongst fertile populations so that each community's 'tree of life' may bear productive fruit.
