CONNECTING
The Importance of Relationships for Success by Edward E. Madden is not a memoir but rather a tutorial, and a first-hand primer on how to connect with people and build successful relationships in business and in life. After a prestigious path through Yale, the U.S. Marine Corps, IBM, and Chase Manhattan Bank, highlighted by long-term relationships with notable leaders such as David Rockefeller and Nelson Mandela, Madden completed his storied career at Fidelity Investments. He expertly explains that first impressions are lasting, and the most important thing in life and business is building relationships.
