About the Author
Nicola McIntosh was born in New Zealand and has lived in Australia most of her life. She resides on Tamborine Mountain nestled amongst the rainforest and natural surrounds. Her love for herbs started in her early 20's where she received a Bachelor Degree in Health Science in Western Herbal Medicine; one of the first to graduate from the newly created degree at the time. From there her love of creating natural skincare grew and after making her own products for 20 years, felt the need to push her knowledge further. Completing a Masters of Chinese Herbal Medicine, graduating with distinction, she then pursued a Diploma of Organic Skincare Formulating. Bringing together her years of study as well as her practice with Celtic Shamanism, she has brought her passion to life in her own way creating a range of herbal products alongside her oracle cards and books. Working from her home base, she formulates new products, working with all manner of herbs including some from her own garden, which allows her to understand there is so much more plants have to offer us and creating a more sustainable business. Her intention is to help others find their love for herbs and their many uses as well as finding peace for ourselves.
