Dak's Country Visit: The Painter and His Cat

Dak (short for "Dakota") is a small town kitty who's used to hanging around the house. Occasionally, his owner, Moon, takes Dak on a drive to the country, to visit their farmer friend, Malcomb. The farm is a strange, wonderful place for Dak. As Moon and Malcomb make small talk on the porch, Dak goes exploring ... This place is nothing like his home; it's exciting and new! Dak heads to the farmhouse, where he sees strange, wonderful animals-all much bigger than he is. It smells different in there and sounds different. In fact, it's so different that Dak might get himself into big trouble if he's not careful! Come along on a farmhouse adventure with mischievous Dak and his friendly owner, Moon. Hal Schulz is a native Minnesota artist who drew on his own experiences on the family farm to write Dak's Country Visit. Dak is actually based on Schulz's real cat of the same name.
