About the Author
Rohan, Colleen: - Colleen Rohan has been a practicing criminal defense attorney for more than thirty years. She served as counsel in the Haradinaj et al. and Popovic et al. cases at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and as senior legal consultant to the Standby Counsel team in Prosecutor v. Karadzic. She edited the Manual on International Criminal Defence: ADC-ICTY Developed Practices, published in 2011, and was twice elected to serve as President of the Association of Defense Counsel Practising at the ICTY. She currently serves as defense counsel in the EULEX war crimes courts in Kosovo.Zyberi, Gentian: - Gentian Zyberi is a Professor of International Law and Human Rights at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, University of Oslo. Zyberi was admitted to legal practice in the Albanian Bar Association, Tirana branch, in February 2006. He has worked as a legal assistant and interpreter for the defense at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in Prosecutor v. Limaj et al. and Prosecutor v. Haradinaj et al. Professor Zyberi is a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, The Hague.
