About the Author
Paul Atanya is a Canadian Career and Employment Consultant with over 20 years of experience in employment and education counselling. He has been assisting Albertans and other Canadians, and especially new Canadians, to make informed career and educational choices. He has counselled over 25,000 new Canadians to gain employment and training in their respective professions within 4 to 6 weeks or less, following landing in Canada. Many of his clients earned PhDs, Masters, Bachelors, Liberal Law Bachelors, MD Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and Journeyman Certification in their trades and other disciplines. Paul is a Certified Career Development Professional (CCDP) and a member of Alberta Carer Development Association (CDAA). He holds a Certificate in Career Development from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of King's College and Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada. Paul is a recipient of academic scholarships, including, the John Godfrey Travelling Scholarship (University of King's College), The Earl of Dalhousie Scholarship and the King's College President's List of Distinction. He was also nominated for Dalhousie University Governors' Award for exemplary leadership and contribution to university students' life. He was further nominated for Canada's Champions of Change (2010) Besides his work as a Career and Employment Consultant, Paul is Director/Chair of his charity, Lotukei Education Trust, Calgary, Alberta, a charitable organization devoted to building schools for boys and girls in destitute communities in the developing countries. On the literary front, Paul Atanya is an author of an acclaimed novel, Bloodshed in Mana (2012), John Fellows (in anthology, Oh, What a Character! (2009) and a dozen unpublished manuscripts.
