About the Author
J.D. Hunter created the first ESL (English as a Second Language) course at The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington. When teaching her course, she discovered that idiomatic and slang words and phrases really "threw students for a loop". So she started jotting down phrases and their meanings. After ten years and 5,000 phrases later, it was time to publish! It is my desire that this book be a key to clear communication among cultures.
