Extant: A Deep Sea Thriller

Grant Dorset teaches marine biology at a university in South Africa. To award extra credits, he selects two students to assist him in repairing sensors and collecting specimens at sea. As they explore, peculiar signs dot the ocean floor. Undeterred, the trio investigate as they approach a remote island.

Encountering another group of scientists from Wading Industries at an isolated fishing village, the situation rapidly escalates into a desperate struggle for survival. Misinformation spreads and revelations unfold as a terrifying deep-sea predator stalks the shallows.
