About the Author
Katy Meister graduated from Iowa State University (go Cyclones!) and is a California native. After 12 years of living in the mid-west, Katy returned to her roots, moving to San Jose, California in 2006 with her husband and children. Katy is an accomplished writer and author of liturgical faith formation curriculum, minister formation, safe environment programs, and children's activity sheets and workbooks. Katy is known as "Katy the Safety Lady" to many, but to her family she is just known as "mommy." Katy has been passionate about protecting young people and vulnerable adults for over 20 years and has been a wife and mother for 15 of those years. Katy and her husband Jeff, have 4 wonderful children: Robert, Maria, Joseph, and Sofia.
