Fedden Mission to Germany: Final Report, Part 2

This is the final report of the Fedden mission to Germany. The mission was to visit research departments and engineering works in Germany to earmark plant, equipment, books, etc. suitable for a college of aeronautics. Other investigations included the then present technique on fuel injection, ignition for aero engines, gas turbines and jet engines, review their relative developments in Germany in comparison with England, ascertain the cost of manufacture and general technique of jet engines, and to determine the development of pitch propellers and blade manufacture. Contents describe a detailed itinerary of the tour, conclusions and recommendations of the mission, and general review.
