About the Author
Tyler Copeland has experience in various fields of work and study, stemming from early coursework in economics to earning a degree in philosophy and political science. After graduating, he gained experience working in both finance and law. Flawed Machines is Tyler's debut novel, though he has made short stories and flash fiction available on his blog. Tyler's passion for philosophical novels was spurred while he worked at his university library. From the science-fiction stories of Asimov and Heinlein to the psychological thrilling tales of Philip K. Dick, the interest for writing well-composed stories rich with mystery became a hobby. Some stories that specifically influenced the motivation for Flawed Machines were Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Oscar Wilde's The Portrait of Dorian Gray, and Isaac Asimov's The End of Eternity.
