Malcolm Offord is Reader in French at the University of Nottingham. His most recent book is French Words: past, present and future. Laïla lbnlfassi is Senior Lecturer in French Studies at the London Guildhall University. She is co-editor, with Nicki Hitchcott, of African francophone writing: a critical introduction. Nicki Hitchcott is Lecturer in French at the University of Nottingham. She is the author of Women Writers in Francophone Africa. Sam Haigh is Lecturer in French Studies at the University of Warwick.
