Shaunda Kennedy Wenger is the great granddaughter of Elizabeth Shade Kennedy and an author of 8 books for children and co-author of a cookbook. The Book Lover's Cookbok, Celebrated Works of Literature and the Passages that Feature Them (Ballantine Books) was a National Public Radio holiday gift pick in 2003.
