About the Author

Devon Giampa is a happily married mom of two originally from Michigan, USA and currently living in Ontario, Canada with her family. As a former elementary teacher, she developed a passion for children's literature and making kids smile. She created Georgie the Talking Mosquito originally to help her son overcome his fear of mosquitoes and bees. As the character grew and became loved by her children over the years, her husband encouraged her to make Georgie come to life through a children's book. We hope this book brings smiles and a little bit of joy to some of nature's common and not so scary insects.
