Crook went on to say, Geronimo was a saint compared to the Kid. The Army thought the Indian wars were over after Geronimo surrendered in 1886, but the Kid waged war by himself or with other renegades until he disappeared in 1899

About the Author
Tom Vyles, Zeke Crandall, penname, raised in Arizona, traveled the state with his grandfather, who was a musician, setting up for music gigs, when a young boy. In the process met many old west characters who would relayed true stories of their lives. A love of Arizona History stimulated the author to preserve these and other true Arizona based stories and historical events.
