Glasgow Celtic Twitcher's Society, what is it? Think Anthony de Mello, think Paulo Coelho, think of the Celestine Prophecy, then think of the passion of Celtic football supporters, the colour green, the flying squawking magic that is birds, and the other-worldliness of a Tennent's super lager hash den in a back-room kitchenette somewhere in a north Glasgow Housing Scheme. Combine this with the mystic tradition and a dash of the Scottish Zen Absurdity movement, and...you get close.

Or it's just a simple story, inhabited by two pals, two seekers of spiritual truth, embarking on an adventure that would bring them from Possilpark to Burundi, from a cottage on the Isle of Skye to a squat in Hackney.

Some would say it's a poem of a dream of an impressionist's experiential Caledonia. Ignore them, they are not well.

About the Author
Bradley, Hugh: - Hugh Bradley does a lot of thinking and sometimes he writes stuff down. This book is one in a ground-breaking 'Kango Hammer' trilogy. He is still thinking about Book Two and Three though, and will get back to you on that. Hugh has always been interested in liberation through random debunking and hasn't yet worked out any beliefs to follow other than Mystic Toast Transformative Hedonism, which he finds to be self-evident and beyond rebuke.
