Chapman currently holds the Healey Endowed Chair at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and is affiliated with the University of Connecticut Human Rights Institute. She previously served as the Director of the American Association for the Advancement of Science Science and Human Rights Program and on expert committees appointed by the UN Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights and the UNESCO human rights program.
