JUDITH ANN ISAACS has lived and worked along the Jemez Mountain Trail since 1996. As a volunteer for the Jemez Springs Public Library, she provides content for an online archive of local history at www.jemezvalleyhistory.org. Other published work includes "Jemez Valley Cookbook: The Food, the People, the Land" and "Into Hot Water," a mystery novel set in an area very much like the Jemez Mountain Trail. She also has written numerous essays, short stories and travel articles.
