About the Author
In the early 1990's, while obtaining his doctorate in psychology, Dr. Kaplan's career began to shift as he was called upon to create change programs on various aspects of health. In 1995, he was invited to join a team of consultants to assist the senior executives of a large company understand the cause of, and to resolve the interpersonal conflicts within their organization. In the late 1990's Dr. Kaplan received training as a professional coach and has been providing coaching, training and consulting ever since. In 2005, he received his Masters in Business Administration and co-founded Habit Change Company. In that capacity, he designs programs to support individuals and organizations create and maintain healthful habits and practices. Today, Dr. Kaplan continues to develop and facilitate innovative habit change programs and helps train coaches throughout the globe to do the same. He also consults with organizations, designs and delivers training programs, and provides executive coaching to senior and emerging leaders, all with a focus on changing behavior as it relates to almost all aspects of interpersonal relationships. Such areas of focus include: influencing others, improving communication, developing and motivating employees, understanding office politics, increasing confidence and executive presence, resolving con flict, and be coming a more mindful leader.
