About the Author
Barnett, Diana E.: - Author, Diana Barnett spent her early years living in Europe, and that is where her love of food began. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, her Chef years were spent in New Orleans and New York. In addition she worked in the Hotel Industry in the events department. Her life changed in 2018 when she was blindsided with a diabetes diagnosis and this is where she took her health and life back. Healing every day she is now a graduate of Institute for Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and a Culinary Wellness Coach. She lives in New York City with her husband and little monster, disguised as a mini-schnauzer, Chico.Freirich, Tanya B.: - Tanya B. Freirich, MS, RD, CDN, CDE is a Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator based in New York City. Tanya shares her passion for nutrition and healing through one-on-one nutrition counselings and group and corporate wellness training. Her expert opinions are found in respected publications such as GQ and AM New York. Tanya and Diana met professionally through one-on-one nutrition counseling. Since their first appointment together, Diana has applied Tanya's nutrition expertise to take control of her diabetes.
