About the Author
Dr. O. Virginia Phillips, a pioneer in intervention programs for preservation and permanency in families, is also an inspirational lecturer and author, writing columns for several newspapers. She has taught marriage and educational seminars, family meetings, churches and conferences including: National Women's Aglow, U.S. Department of Education, Consortium for Northern California Child Development Centers, African American Cultural Exchange Program, University Without Walls in San Francisco, OMSI and places all around the United States and internationally, including East, West and North Africa, Haiti and the British West Indies. She is President and Founder of Women of Purpose, International, a family ministry whose purpose is to build relationships and bring unity through Reconciliation, Restoration, and Renewal across denominational, social, ethnic and cultural groups.
