About the Author

Chris Kilham is a medicine hunter and teaches ethnobotany through the Medicinal Plant program at the University of Massachusetts. His two previous books, Tales From the Medicine Trail and Psyche Delicacies: Coffee, Chocolate, Chiles, Kava, and Cannabis and Why They're Good For You were published by Rodale Press. He has published 12 books in all.
