About the Author
Elura Nanos, Esq. A fourth-generation entrepreneur, Elura broke the family mold by making school her first career, studying African-American literature, classical music, and law. As a newly-minted member of the New York bar, Elura worked as a trial lawyer in the child abuse and neglect division of New York City's Administration for Children's Services. Later, she rounded out her legal experience by practicing commercial litigation and family law at Blank Rome, LLP, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. When Elura could no longer resist the lure of being her own employer, she founded Lawyer Up, and has never looked back. Now, she travels the globe (or at least the neighborhood) showing people that legal expertise doesn't require pinstripes, bow-ties, or jargon. Elura lives with her very patient husband and two snuggly kids in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Plate-spinning is a way of life for Elura, who also finds time to serve as a board member of several charitable educational organizations.
