Since its inception, the CIA has served as a catalyst for corporatists to protect their interests particularly in authoritarian and oligarchical regimes Globalization has destroyed cultural identity; has led to unemployment and underemployment; and has disregarded the environment. It has led to record profits of multinationals. Globalization also has dictated the need for a militaristic society to protect corporate interests abroad.
