Jean's accidental meeting with Marie has him thinking this daring lady with the green eyes is a lady of the night. His being twice her age does not stop the intrigued Marie from becoming attracted to the fisherman, who isn't afraid to come to her aid when she needs, although she knows what he thinks she is, . one of "those" women.
