About the Author
Baker, Debbie: - Debbie Denise Thomas Baker was born at home, delivered by a mid-wife, in the small community of Reeltown, Alabama. She attended Reeltown High School until the tenth grade when she transferred to Tuskegee Institute High School from which she graduated. She never made a conscious decision to write poetry, but felt God's gentle guidance to sit down and start writing. Her inspirations are Jesus Christ, life situations, and the Bible. She has published one previous book of poetry entitled Hands to Thee. Copies of that book are only available through the author. Ms. Baker is available to do readings in churches or other venues.
