About the Author
Stephens, James: - James Stephens (1880-1950) was an Irish writer, best remembered for his retellings of Irish myths and folklore. His most celebrated work is the 1920 collection 'Irish Fairy Tales'. He was good friends with fellow Irish author James Joyce, and almost assisted him in completing his final work, 'Finnegans Wake' (1939).
