Ahmed ElObeidy graduated with a PhD from the University of Illinois and has worked as a professor at Cairo University, United Arab Emirates University and King Saud University. He worked internationally as a Team Leader for strategies with UNDP, as a Senior Information Technology Officer for Science & Technology Research with UN-ESCWA and as a Chief Technical Advisor for capacity building with FAO.
