About the Author
Maya, Gato: - Aside from being a loving, caring husband and father, and holding a degree in human behavior/sociology, Gato Maya is an experienced seaman and a very talented acoustic guitar maker as well. Gato Maya is also a direct descendant of the Indigenous Purepecha tribe and was raised on a farm by his grandmother who spoke the Native Purepecha dialect. The Purepecha tribe (otherwise known as the unconquered tribe), is an older Indigenous tribe native to these continents and territories than the Aztecs and Mayans, and the only unconquered Indigenous tribe to defeat both the Aztecs and Conquistadors. To this very day, Gato Maya still continues to carry out many of his ancestors beliefs and traditions as well as farming.
