Set against the backdrop of the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic, young George Byram is more than ready to leave his distant father and harsh life at Willow Creek, his family's farm in rural Idaho. An essay about George Byram's life was first published in The Corona Silver Linings Anthology, and from there, the idea of Keeping Willow Creek was born.

Erika is passionate about how the past can helps us find meaning in our lives and is now working on her second novel.

Erika lives in Canada with her family, where she enjoys skiing and sunshine. Currently, she spends time on projects she is not qualified to tackle on the family farm.
