About the Author
Dan Possumato is retired from the U.S. Army and holds a M.S. degree from Johns Hopkins University as well as a diploma from the U.S. Army War College. This is his first book, which he extensively researched from contemporary source documents gathered from far-flung and difficult-to-obtain records. His grandfather was Giovanni Musolino, a first cousin of the famous outlaw who, as a boy of ten or eleven, actually met his fugitive relative while he was on the loose. It was from him that he first heard the fantastic stories about Il Brigante. He lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Ellen Steinbart.
