About the Author
THE AUTHOR Wayne Augustine graduated from Taylor University with an Education degree and a major in math and physics. He received his masters degree from Edinboro University with a degree in Guidance and Counseling. He was an instructor, athletic director and basketball coach at Berkshire Christian College from 1962 until 1767. In the summer of 1967 the Augustine's answered a call to East Springfield, Pa. to work with his father, Dr. P. H. Augustine as the Director of the W. L. D. Ranch, a ministry of the Federated Church in East Springfield, Pennsylvania. Wayne served the ministry over the next twenty-six years as Camp Director, Christian Education Director, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and finally for the last sixteen years as senior Pastor. During his tenure in East Springfield Pastor Wayne ministered in many churches, encouraging pastors around him and was invited to share in pastor's conferences on a number of occasions. Wayne also taught math at Fort LeBeouf High School for thirteen years. In addition he did marriage and family counseling through the church, working not only with his own congregation, but assisting other pastors in the area by helping their parishioners upon request. Wayne and his wife Mary developed and conducted the Family Foundations Seminar, a ministry to help families discover and deal with root problems from a Biblical basis. Wayne and Mary now reside in the Wesleyan Village in Brooksville, Fl.
