About the Author
Doctor Bill Gould has practiced medicine in the Seattle, Washington, area since 1981. He has served as a volunteer physician in Darfur Province, Sudan, and in the underserved areas of Vietnam. He was recently a Visiting Professor of Medicine in China. He graduated from Cambridge and Harvard Universities in Asian Studies, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He was a highly decorated combat officer in Vietnam, and an Army Ranger. He lives with his wife deep in the Cascade Mountains.
