Ever hear about someone who won a big lottery jackpot and then blew all the money? Are you curious to know what happened? This book explores not only the silly, stupid, criminal and just nasty happenings that sometimes surround good fortune, but also provides a humorous look at why we may feel good when we see big winners lose it all. The book also includes an interesting look at the history of the lottery highlighting some major public projects that you might not have suspected were funded through lottery proceeds. Finally the author walks us down a path mixed with professional and humorous advice for those that might win the lottery in the future.

About the Author
Ken Fritz is a retired City Manager who has never won anything big unless you count the time he won an unboxed, possibly used, television at an association's Christmas party in 1994. He lives with his adorable wife Karen in Winona, Minnesota, where they enjoy the beautiful Mississippi Valley and the wonderful people there. Look for other informative books or collections of random ideas from Ken in the future. Ken sums up his perspective on writing in our times, "The nice thing about today's world is anyone can get published or have a reality show. I'm not sure this is what Johannes Gutenberg was hoping for when he invented the mechanical moving type printing press but some things just don't turn out the way you think they will."
