About the Author
Originally from Pennsylvania, Deb and her husband Pete live on a small farm near the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina. Deb enjoys the simplicity of their country lifestyle and takes pleasure in the daily antics of their horse Colonel, a half dozen rowdy barn cats and a large, but friendly black snake, they've affectionately named Licorice. After a successful career in Art Administration, Deb has taken on a new challenging career as an aspiring writer. Her first book A Hot Dog Stand in the Himalayas began as a diary for her granddaughter and expanded into a collection of fictional stories. Deb's children's book The Adventures of Annie Banana Bread and Larry Cranberry encourages children to accept other children with disabilities - in Larry's case Asthma. Deb is one of the original writers who form the successful online humor magazine, Humoroutcasts.com. Her debut novel Love, Montana was selected and published by HumorOutcasts Press.
