This is the true story of one woman's assault by an insidious and deadly disease and how clarity came about as to it's identity and how to completely overcome it. It has its moment of humor and also a glimpse into the despair that only those afflicted with this painful disease would fully appreciate it. This took place over a period of years until she arrived at that moment of complete lack of symptoms from Lyme disease and went on to live a very active life and take on physically demanding occupations. She remained symptom free since 1993. She also presents a challenge to the scientific research community. She feels that this is an experience that needs to be made known to all t hose suffering from Lyme Disease which is now one of the greatest vector diseases in the U.S and in Europe. This book can give them the courage to try a different approach that really works. It also will serve to enlighten the general public to understanding what are the differences between Allopathic and Homeopathic medicine.

About the Author
I did not want or choose my life to have so many medical issues. i wanted to sing and dance and to fly away with Peter Pan straight on to morning. I had to be brave to play the cards that I was dealt. I had to realize that working hard was not enough but that I had to work smart too. I have also always loved to learn and always was I drawn to the creative fields of singing, art and music. Roadblocks to this quest of a fantastic life invaded my life in many forms. It was like when my twin grandaughters were arguing at the age of 5. Aislin said, "Life is not fair" and her sister Kiara said, "No, Aislin, life is fair." They bantered back and forth a few times getting more adamant with every declaration. Finally, one said, "Let's ask daddy." I think I have had enough of the sad side of life to know "life is not fair". However, we can go out to do battle with impositions that the fair kisses of Kismet may smooch us with if we open our mind at times to unconventional thinking. Think outside of the box and also educate yourself with the tried and true methods as well. Einstein said imagination was more important that knowledge. I share the experiences which have blessed me as well as I can and hope I can lessen the pains and unfairness of life's unforeseen calamities that surely confront us all the longer we live. Yes, a good life is part science and if you make an effort -part art. With just a dash of unfairness thrown in. I have lived in Ohio, California, England and Canada life is really very similar everywhere. I work at what I am able to. I have a multitude of subjects that I have flirted with from sculpture at age 38 to singing with a college choir at the age of 52 in the Performing Arts Center. I Karaoke, I paint, write poetry and do all the crafts I have time for and I write. I am constantly being inspired by others and hope I can offer some consolation to others for the unfairness in life.
