About the Author
Alice O'Leary-Randall is the widow of Robert C. Randall, America's first legal recipient of federal supplies of marijuana for medical purposes. Alice and Robert knew one another for more than three decades and were married for 27 years. Together they cracked the medical prohibition of marijuana in the U.S. and forged a new movement in America -- the medical marijuana movement. Alice and Robert founded the Alliance for Cannabis Therapeutics in 1980 and the Marijuana AIDS Research Service in 1991. Following Robert's death in 2001, Alice returned to school and became a nurse in order to pursue her dream of hospice work. She worked with Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota for more than six years before retiring. She is an avid photographer and writer. To learn more about Alice please visit: www.medicalmarijuanapioneer.com
