About the Author
Wendy N. E. Ikemoto graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University and earned her PhD in the History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University. She worked as the Terra Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in American Art at The Courtauld Institute of Art in London and as the Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow and then Visiting Assistant Professor of American Art at Vassar College in New York. She has published articles in "American Art" and "The Burlington Magazine." Her book, "Antebellum American Pendant Paintings: New Ways of Looking" (Routledge, 2017), marks the first sustained study of pendant paintings. She continues to work in art and education. "Millary Blinpin, Politician" is her first children's book.
