About the Author
Somers, Bonita: - Bonita Somers moved to Texas immediately following graduation where spent the next 25 years doing design and international purchasing work in the wholesale florist and craft store business. Later, she went back to school to become an art teacher to pursue her passion, ART!. While teaching art on a cart in a Texas public school, she was inspired her to jot down some notes for a potential book. She stuck them in a drawer where they were left untouched for seven years until she stumbled across them after moving to North Carolina. These notes prompted her to create the Ms. B's Art on a Cart series designed for elementary aged students. Each book in the series tells a story in verse, teaches a life lesson all while introducing art vocabulary, concepts, and mediums. Currently there are four book in the series Something From Nothing, The Great Chance to Enhance, The Chicken Soup Group, and The Unique Critique.
