About the Author
David P. Sanchez, Psy.D., LMFT, is a Licensed Therapist providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families. David received his doctoral training from Alliant International University, also known as the California School of Professional Psychology (San Diego campus), and earned a two-year clinical certificate in Infant/Family Practice on scholarship from the Harris Infant Mental Health Training Institute in Phoenix, AZ. David possesses extensive experience in facilitating multifamily therapeutic groups and is passionate about the training, development, and coaching of new clinicians joining the field of Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, and Psychology. David has worked as a Regional Manager for the San Diego Center for Children overseeing wraparound services thru the Child & Family Team model, as an Applied Behavior Analysis Care Manager at Magellan Health Services and as a Clinical Care Director overseeing the clinical operations and providing the clinical oversight for high needs case management services, assessment services, birth-to-five assessment services, and counseling services at Southwest Network thru the Child & Family Team model. David is an accomplished presenter and has presented at national, state, and community conferences on birth-to-five assessment services. David and his partner Daniel have two adopted children.
